In a year filled with challenges and constantly evolving circumstances with much of our team working remotely, we felt it was more important than ever to spread some holiday cheer among the Mspark family as 2020 comes to a close and we look forward to 2021.
The fun kicked off December 1st with our virtual tree lighting, keeping up the tradition with team members joining virtually to enjoy the festive decorations. On December 2nd, we started a Drive-By Food Drive to support the great work of Oak Mountain Missions helping individuals in need in Jefferson and Shelby Counties. Employees were able to drop off nonperishable food and grocery items curbside at our Helena corporate office.
It doesn’t feel like the holidays without delicious, tasty treats, so on December 8th we held a virtual Holiday Cookie Decorating How-to-Demo, led by our very own Creative Brand Manager Angela Hundley, who walked us through her amazing cookie decorating techniques.
On December 10th, we had a blast with our Holiday Scavenger Hunt – Home Edition, where we competed in three increasingly challenging rounds, hunting for holiday-themed items around the house! Keeping up the virtual event theme, Senior Graphic Artist Jenni Hodges and her daughter led a Family/Kids Holiday Crafts How-to Session on December 14th, where team members and their family members learned how to make several different paper crafted holiday decorations. Some were more successful with the scissors and glue sticks than others, but it was fun for all!
We celebrated our achievements this year at our Virtual Town Hall December 15th with our CEO Steve Mitzel, and finally on December 16th we had a virtual visit from Santa, wishing everyone a joyful holiday season. From the Mspark family to all of you, we wish you a happy holiday season and a bright and hopeful 2021!
